Idea Brazil PRIZE Nominee

Context & solution
Cambé is in the Brazilian market for 57 years producing glass goods in the decoration segment. The company faced the necessity of renovate its traditional product line to be a brand that sells art and design. Chuva was supposed to substitute Cambé’s iconic cake stand ‘Brasil Antigo’ (Antique Brazil), a design marked by its engraved pattern. CHUVA  embraces glass’ nature: even in solid state it keeps transforming and moving at the microscopic level. “Rain” provided the mood to combine the classic and the new. The engraving is the movement on water’s surface during a pouring rain. It can be used with or without lid, as decoration piece, for serving or storing food. It is completely made from Cambé’s ecological crystal that contains no lead.

Design boom's BRIGHT LED PRIZE Nominee

Context and solution
This was a short personal project I developed in my free time. I wanted to produce an LED light concept in which the user could fully mould the position of light. The silicon moulded body has a metal net as skeleton that sustain its shape. It can be produced in different shapes, expanding the light manipulation possibilities.
